Activities for today
We learned about the shrines and that every thing that is natural is sacred.
You told us of your efforts to become European royalty
We learned about some Japanese theatre that is influenced by Shintoism

We looked over what had been posted on the wiki yesterday. We also discussed what we should and shouldn't put on the wiki.

Shintoism has no clear founder.
Theres no holy book of scripture.
That things in nature like mountains, trees, animals etc.. are holy to shinto beleivers.
also we learned about Torii gates which is the entrance of a shrine. When you pass through it you enter into a holy area.
Shinto shrines are based around nature and Kami worship.
The Shintos have a traditional theatre called Noh Theater that involves eight people. Srines and everything that is natural is sacred.
Shintoism does not have a holy book, and they have shrines all over the Japanese landscape and each shrine has some importance to Kami worship.
We covered the importance of tea in the culture.
We covered tea masters is an important job.
Then we covered the importance of Ebay in the world.
Assignments for tomorrow or later
Describe assignments made in class today
after we learn about origami tomorrow there is a contest whoever can create the best origami on friday wins
We are supposed to work on our readings.
Reading, origami, and a quiz of the reading.
We are supposed to read Chapter 28 section 4 in the blue book and Chapter 17 in the red book.
Read the red and blue books
